This bottle contains our small batch, pot distilled, single estate sugarcane juice rum matured with staves split from indigenous sickle bush logs.

BUSHFIRE was inspired by the great South African tradition of “Braaivleis” or just “Braai”.

A braai is a South African barbeque but better and is so entrenched in our society that it is truly part of our culture. The ultimate braai is one where the meat is grilled on the long burning coals made from burning local hardwood. Sickle bush (Dichrostachys cinerea) is one of the most popular braai woods in South Africa.

Ingredients: Passion, time, love and attention, fermented and distilled pure sugarcane juice, crystalline water and congeners from sicklebush staves. Nothing else!
